In view of the rise of COVID-19 and its variants, we understand you likely have questions about how we can all do our part to keep you, our clients, and your loved ones healthy. Here is what we're doing to help safeguard you and our cleaning crews — and how you can help too.
Our cleaning teams remain fully operational as disinfecting is crucial now more than ever.
WHAT IS ROSIE CLEANS DOING?
Cleaning and disinfecting. Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces in households is a best practice to prevent COVID-19, its variants, and other viral respiratory illnesses. Cleaning removes dirt and allergens, improving health. Clean visibly dirty surfaces, then disinfect to prevent illness. Sanitizing reduces 99.9% of germs. Disinfecting kills germs and viruses on surfaces.
EPA-Approved disinfecting products. Our cleaning technicians use EPA-approved disinfectants to sanitize and disinfect high touchpoints (HTPs) in your home and office. We include it in every cleaning.
*Sol-U-Guard Botanical (SBT 2 to1) by Melaleuca is approved by the EPA to be used against the coronavirus. Sol-U-Guard Botanical Disinfectant was the first botanical disinfectant to be registered by the EPA. Instead of harsh chemicals, Sol-U-Guard Botanical uses safe and proven ingredients such as thyme oil (thymol) and citric acid. When used together, these two ingredients kill 99.9% of viruses. Sol-U-Guard Botanical allows you to protect your family against invading viruses and keep your home disinfected.
Closely monitoring the situation and taking action. We're following updates on COVID-19, including guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health officials.
Helping with prevention. The health and safety of our community are our priority. Our cleaning techs wear protective gear such as face masks and disposable gloves when cleaning and disinfecting. We've enhanced our cleaning protocols to thoroughly disinfect high-touch surfaces and shared spaces. Typical procedures include disinfecting cleaning equipment and regular hand washing throughout the day.
For our recurring clients, we provide our Rosie Cleaning Kit. The kit includes color-coded microfiber cloths and sponges to prevent cross-contamination. These are disinfected after every cleaning.
Keeping you informed. As usual, you will be informed if anyone on our team is feeling under the weather and if rescheduling is needed.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Practice good hygiene. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water. Cover your nose and mouth if you have to sneeze or cough. Use hand sanitizer with at least 70% alcohol content. Wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth. Please stay home if you are sick.
Reschedule your cleaning if you or anyone in your household is sick. It is important to protect yourself and others to prevent any occurrences. If you are feeling sick, please contact us or log in to your account to see your upcoming cleanings and reschedule your cleaning appointment if needed.
Stay informed. The CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO) are updating their sites with the latest information.
*COVID-19 is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Sol-U-Guard Botanical Disinfectant kills similar viruses and therefore can be used against SARS-CoV-2 virus when used in accordance with the directions for use against rhinovirus and poliovirus on hard, non-porous surfaces.
